The configuration of the feminist movement in the city of La Plata (2001-2019)”. This research seeks to provide knowledge about the ways of doing feminist politics in Argentina from a case study focused on the head city of the Province of Buenos Aires. The paper investigates two singularities of the feminist field based on the analysis of eleven interviews with activists and the review of news from the digital archive of El Día newspaper. On the one hand, it addresses the characteristics of the political link established by the interviewees between the city of La Plata and Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. This is relevant as feminist political genealogy in Argentina tends to emphasize on the processes developing in the latter. On the other hand, it analyzes the circuits created by feminist conflict during the years 2003-2006 in La Plata. The article is organized as follows. First, it presents the concepts of feminist wave, field and social conflict. Then, it addresses the characteristics that the specialized bibliography makes of the social conflict in the Argentina of the new millennium to later register in this framework the feminist conflict in the city of La Plata in the years 2003-2006. Finally, it addresses the significance that being an activist in a city located sixty kilometers from CABA has. It should be noted that the following are partial results of an ongoing investigation. Este artículo expone algunos emergentes de mi investigación doctoral titulada “De las olas a la arena. La configuración del movimiento feminista en la ciudad de La Plata (2001-2019)”. Esta investigación busca aportar conocimiento sobre los modos de hacer política feminista en Argentina a partir de un estudio de caso centrado en la ciudad capital de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. El artículo indaga dos singularidades de la arena feminista a partir del análisis de once entrevistas a militantes y de la revisión de noticias del archivo digital del diario El Día. Por un lado, aborda las características del vínculo político que establecen las entrevistadas entre la ciudad de La Plata y la Capital Federal (CABA). Indagar este punto es relevante en la medida que la genealogía política feminista en Argentina suele darle un peso preponderante a lo sucedido en esta última. Por otro lado, analiza los circuitos que crea la conflictividad feminista durante el período 2003-2006 en La Plata. El artículo se organiza de la siguiente manera. Primero, presenta los conceptos de ola feminista, arena y conflictividad social. Luego, desarrolla las características que la bibliografía especializada hace de la conflictividad social en la Argentina del nuevo milenio para luego inscribir en ese marco la conflictividad feminista de la ciudad de La Plata en el período 2003-2006. Finalmente, aborda la significación que tiene para las activistas feministas el militar en una ciudad que se ubica a sesenta kilómetros de CABA. Cabe resaltar que lo expuesto a continuación son resultados parciales de una investigación en curso.
