| Sumario: | The article reflects on the potential and limitations of AI in history teaching. This initial exploratory work is conducted through the realization of various experiences: the production of a short film made with AI called “El desentierro IA”; the proposal of an action research using AI chatbots –ChatGTP and Luzia– and the visual production of AI –Copilot, Canva AI, and Luzia– which are carried out in the 3rd year of a private central school in the city of Salta, in the Regional History subject.
The transversal axis of these productions is the Carnival of the Quebrada, and they are framed by theoretical concepts related to historical thinking such as historical narration and historical imagination (Santisteban, 2010). Finally, the writing proposes the use of a multimodal language that enables interaction with some AI productions and readers through simple language. |
