It arises from the result of interviews conducted between 2021 and 2022 in the framework of the preparation of a thesis of the bachelor’s degree of Social Work (Universidad Nacional del Litoral) that aimed to reconstruct the biographical trajectories of migrants. Transnationalism -perspective from which this text is positioned- understands migratory networks as a complex system of social relations that plays a key role throughout the migratory process, from the decision to emigrate to settlement in the place of destination, thus fixing the origin, orientation and directionality of the flows. From the story of the protagonists, it is possible to affirm that the migration studied here is the result of the connections established by the migrant family with individual and collective agents settled in Argentina, with whom they had and/or established ties of kinship, familiarity, friendship and nationality. The operation of the network allowed the realization of the migratory project, providing economic aid, facilitating communication, providing lodging, among others. El artículo aborda el rol que desempeñó la red migratoria entretejida por los integrantes de una familia ucraniana que migró hacia Argentina -en diferentes etapas- en la década del 90. Surge a partir del resultado de entrevistas realizadas entre los años 2021 y 2022 en el marco de la elaboración de una tesina de la Licenciatura en Trabajo Social (Universidad Nacional del Litoral) que tenía por objetivo reconstruir las trayectorias biográficas de los migrantes. El transnacionalismo -perspectiva desde la que se posiciona este texto- comprende a las redes migratorias como un sistema complejo de relaciones sociales que cumple un rol clave a lo largo de todo el proceso migratorio, desde la decisión de emigrar hasta el asentamiento en el lugar de destino, fijando así el origen, la orientación y direccionalidad de los flujos. A partir del relato de los protagonistas, es posible afirmar que la migración aquí estudiada es el resultado de las conexiones establecidas por la familia migrante con agentes individuales y colectivos asentados en Argentina, con quienes tenían y/o establecieron lazos de parentesco, familiaridad, amistad y nacionalidad; el funcionamiento de la red permitió la concreción del proyecto migratorio, aportando ayuda económica, facilitando la comunicación, brindando hospedaje, entre otros.
