description In November 2022, a group of musicologists and musician-researchers met in the Argentine city of Santa Fe as part of the INNOVART project «The uses of sound. The initial idea, which was to listen to the Paraná River around Santa Fe – that is, to report on this unique ecosystem through listening and listening technologies – was gradually enriched and finally the mission was developed in three sites: the islands of the Paraná middle, the Boca neighborhood on the outskirts of Santa Fe and the Coronda prison located along the Paraná. The Paraná islands were studied thanks to two boat trips and invitations from the island's inhabitants. The Boca neighborhood was visited while participating in a community tourism project organized by neighbors. As for the Coronda prison, the group arrived there with two former political prisoners of the Videla dictatorship as guides. For each site, sound recordings and interviews were made on the topic of sound and listening. To better reflect this fieldwork, this article incorporates a selection of recordings, interview excerpts and images. The text is structured in a theoretical introduction, followed by a methodological part, then five main parts that relate field experiences according to a specific approach to the sound dimension: morphological, everyday, attention, qualitative and political; The conclusion points to the need for ecosophical listening and proposes a reflection on the act of recording.

En noviembre de 2022, un grupo de musicólogos y músicos-investigadores se reunieron en la ciudad argentina de Santa Fe como parte del proyecto INNOVART «Los usos del sonido. Aproximaciones creativas, teóricas y tecnológicas al field recording», para trabajos de investigación a partir de grabaciones sonoras. La idea inicial, que era escuchar el río Paraná alrededor de Santa Fe – es decir, reflexionar sobre este ecosistema único a través de la escucha y de las tecnologías de grabación  – se fue enriqueciendo gradualmente y finalmente la misión se desarrolló en tres sitios: las islas del Paraná medio, el barrio de La Boca en las afueras de Santa Fe y el penal de Coronda ubicado a lo largo del Paraná. Las islas del Paraná fueron estudiadas gracias a dos viajes en lancha y a invitaciones de habitantes. El barrio de La Boca fue visitado mientras se participaba de un proyecto de turismo comunitario organizado por vecinos. En cuanto a la cárcel de Coronda, el grupo llegó hasta allí con dos ex presos políticos de la dictadura de Videla como guías. Para cada sitio se realizaron grabaciones sonoras y entrevistas en relación a las experiencias sonoras de los habitantes. Para reflejar mejor este trabajo de investigación, el presente artículo incorpora una selección de grabaciones, extractos de entrevistas, imágenes y videos. El texto se estructura en una introducción teórica, seguida de una parte metodológica, luego cinco partes principales que relatan experiencias transmitidas según un enfoque específico sobre a la dimensión sonora: morfológico, cotidiano, de atención, cualitativo y político; la conclusión apunta a la necesidad de una escucha ecosófica y propone una reflexión sobre el acto de grabar.
