The project made it possible to consolidate senses of belonging and institutional identity, according to the era which it is part of, taking into account two dimensions: the historiographical and historical–political of education, and the sociocultural and geographical aspects of Santo Tomé. Both dimensions are crossed by gender perspectives and human rights as axes of Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE), assumed by the school in its institutional project. En el marco de la celebración de los 50 años de historia de la educación secundaria para adultos en la provincia de Santa Fe, y del quincuagésimo aniversario de la Escuela de Educación Media para Adultos (EEMPA) N° 1218 Nativas del Salado de la ciudad de Santo Tomé, el presente relato de experiencia describe el devenir de la imposición del nombre de la escuela y explica los fundamentos de la selección de dicho nombre. El proyecto posibilitó consolidar sentidos de pertenencia e identidad institucionales, acordes a la época en la que se inscribe, atendiendo a dos dimensiones: la historiográfica e histórico–política de la educación, y la sociocultural y geográfica santotomesina.
