It is an ethnographic research performed in a community eminently marked by black culture and based on two projects of a Samba School: the child project of Mestre Sala and Porta Bandeira and the project of child Passistas. It was found that social practices, in this context, are configured through community and cultural experiences that are passed on between generations, emerging the necessity to be transmited to children. In the Samba Schools, children from young ages are included in these experiences and they are presented to symbols, rituals and customs proper of that place, suggesting an education that goes through social and cultural relations. El texto presentado se basa en los resultados de una investigación etnográfica realizada en el ámbito de un programa de doctorado en Brasil, referida a Educación e Infancia y que tuvo como objetivo pensar la infancia y la educación en contextos comunitarios locales, buscando diferentes espacios de diálogo con los niños y ninãs para una comprensión más amplia de los procesos educativos en los espacios de educación no formal. Se trata de una investigación etnográfica realizada en una comunidad eminentemente marcada por la cultura negra, basada en dos proyectos en la escuela de samba: el proyecto infantil de parejas de Mestre Sala y Porta Bandeira y el proyecto de niños y ninãs passistas. Se encontró que las prácticas sociales, en este contexto, se configuran a través de experiencias comunitarias y culturales que se transmiten de generación en generación, es decir, necesitan ser enseñadas a los niños y ninãs. En las Escuelas de Samba, los niños y ninãs, desde pequeños, son incluidos en estas experiencias y se les presentan los símbolos, rituales y costumbres propios de ese lugar, sugiriendo una educación que pasa por relaciones sociales y culturales.  application/pdf https://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/iice/article/view/10457 spa Subsecretaría de publicaciones.
