To answer this question, we looked over different investigations from the field of social and human sciences. The bibliographic review carried out exposes the significant contributions made from this field to the understanding of mobility problems related to inequality. These contributions enrich urban studies and urban policy planning. En este artículo nos preguntamos de qué forma se ha abordado en la literatura sobre movilidades, la relación entre movilidades y desigualdades en el espacio urbano. Para responder a este interrogante se realizó una reconstrucción de distintas investigaciones provenientes del campo de las ciencias sociales y humanas. La revisión bibliográfica realizada expone las significativas contribuciones realizadas desde este campo a la comprensión de las problemáticas de movilidad vinculadas con la desigualdad.
