This is possible through what we call statistical process control, as a fundamental tool of the necessary quality control in all production process, whether industrial or service provision. In this paper, the continuous improvement of one of the core processes of a passenger transport company is developed, implementing its methodology and applying concepts of statistical process control. In this way it will be demonstrated through the various tools of continuous improvement how it is possible to find the required improvements achieving the fulfillment of a large part of the proposed objectives. A partir de la implementación en las empresas de la metodología de mejora continua de procesos, como parte fundamental de una gestión basada en la calidad, se realizan diversos análisis y estudios apoyados en la estadística a efectos de determinar la variabilidad de un proceso determinado. Esto es posible a través de lo que denominamos Control Estadístico de Procesos, como herramienta fundamental del control de calidad necesario en todo proceso productivo, ya sea industrial o de prestación de servicios. En el presente trabajo se desarrolla la mejora continua de uno de los procesos centrales de una empresa de transporte de pasajeros, implementando su metodología y aplicando conceptos de control estadístico de procesos.
