This work is located within the framework of this problem and aims to contribute to the search for heuristic models of localized industrial systems, which allow explicitly addressing the formation of qualitatively differentiated systems, inserted in broader social relations that stratify the social space in different scales with their centralities and peripheries. The work proposes to do this by emphasizing the modes of articulation between territoriality and capitalist relations of production, specifying an operational model adapted and applied to the sources of geographic information available for the manufacturing industry of the Province of Santa Fe, Argentina. Las investigaciones sobre los distritos industriales abrieron un nuevo campo de posibilidades al pensamiento económico al introducir la territorialidad en relación con la concentración de pequeñas y media­nas empresas industriales. Sin embargo, su definición teórica y operativa se mantuvo como un problema pendiente de resolución. Este trabajo se ubica en el marco de esta problemática y se propone contribuir en la búsqueda de modelos heurísticos de los sistemas industriales localizados que permitan abordar explícitamente la formación de sistemas cualitativamente diferenciados, insertos en relaciones sociales más amplias que estra­tifican el espacio social en diferentes escalas, con sus centros y periferias.
