Our work aims to relieve these references and observe its operation in the structure proposed by Lope story.  La Arcadia, novela pastoril de Lope de Vega propone al lector el derrotero sentimental de Anfriso y Belisarda que está cruzado por la profusión descriptiva y un sistema retórico que entreteje referencias a escenas de lectura y escritura. Dicha tematización es un recordatorio de la presencia de la ficción y de la convención idealizante propia de un género exitoso.
