Such listening involves the recognition and interpretation of conventions consolidated from what can be defined as an intermedial sonic language. We start from the idea that talking about listening, as a mediated phenomenon, is limited if different literacies and media specificities are not considered, as well as an intermedial aural historicity. The possibilities of in praesentia and in absentia listening are also problematized, to later illustrate how three dynamics of intermedial rhetorization –ideasthesic punctuation, intermedial synecdoche and parodic setup– activate situations of intermedial listening by alluding to the aural experience of other medialities. Se plantea la noción de escucha intermedial, concebida como la respuesta aural a ciertos estímulos mediáticos que buscan trascender los límites de su propia configuración medial. Dicha escucha implica el reconocimiento e interpretación de convenciones consolidadas desde lo que se puede definir como un lenguaje sonoro intermedial. Se parte de la idea de que hablar sobre la escucha, como fenómeno mediado, resulta limitado si no se contemplan diversas literacidades y especificidades mediales, así como una historicidad aural intermedial. Se problematiza además sobre las posibilidades de escuchas in praesentia e in absentia, para después ilustrar cómo tres dinámicas de retorización intermedial –puntuación ideastésica, sinécdoque intermedial y puesta en situación paródica– activan situaciones de escucha intermedial a partir de la alusión a la experiencia aural de otras medialidades. Se coloca a noção de escuta intermediária, concebida como a resposta aural a certos estímulos mediáticos que procuram transcender os limites de sua própria configuração mediática. Essa escuta implica o reconhecimento e a interpretação de convenções consolidadas a partir do que se pode ser definido como uma linguagem sonora intermédia. Parte-se da ideia de que falar sobre a escuta, como um fenômeno mediado, é limitado se não contemplarmos diversas literacias e especificidades mediáticas, assim como uma historicidade aural intermediária.
