La directora de la revista dedica un espacio de reflexión para inventariar la historia de Información, cultura y sociedad, luego de cinco números y diez años de existencia ininterrumpida. Identifica barreras disciplinarias internas y externas que conspiraron para la creación primero y la continuidad después de este título académico. También enumera los logros alcanzados mediante el trabajo en equipo, la disposición permanente para aprender y el respeto por quienes se acercan a la publicación.
