It is our understanding that the aspects to regulate the wildlife can`t be tackled in an isolated manner but must be evaluated in an integrated way including the environment, the biodiversity, the preservation of natural areas and the environmental systems as a whole, that are essential for wildlife development and preservation. On the other hand, it is necessary to know the international context on this field through the agreements signed by Argentina in relation to those in the international agenda, which define the legal core and starting point to consider the local regulation.\n Fil: Waitzman, María. En el presente artículo nos proponemos analizar los aspectos legales vigentes tanto a nivel nacional como en la regulación local, orientados a definir los puntos que requieren de una regulación específica para regular la fauna en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA). Entendiendo que no pueden abordarse los aspectos para regular la fauna de forma aislada, que debe considerarse en un contexto integrado con el entorno, con la biodiversidad, con la preservación de los espacios naturales y los sistemas ambientales en su integridad que son esenciales para el desarrollo y la conservación de la fauna.
