| Sumario: | Abstract: There is certain legal void in connection with wild fauna legislation within the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA). The purpose of this article is to evaluate the legal aspects in force both, at the national and at the local levels to define the issues that require a specific piece of legislation to rule wildlife in CABA. It is our understanding that the aspects to regulate the wildlife can`t be tackled in an isolated manner but must be evaluated in an integrated way including the environment, the biodiversity, the preservation of natural areas and the environmental systems as a whole, that are essential for wildlife development and preservation. On the other hand, it is necessary to know the international context on this field through the agreements signed by Argentina in relation to those in the international agenda, which define the legal core and starting point to consider the local regulation.\n |
