Facultad de Filosofía y Letras; Argentina This paper discuses what Theodor W. Adorno says about the problem of the happiness in his Ästhetische Theorie (1970). In the first part, I explain what I call "paradoxical happiness". This concept tell us why in the dissolution of the self it is increased the reification of the subjectivity. In the second, I show the adornian thesis about the happiness that we are able to recognize in his Ästhetische Theorie.
