While the scenes involving great banquets have often been the object of study, both in Aristophanic comedy and in other genres, the practices of private banquets have been analyzed only in a lateral way. Our study intends to make a contribution in such a topic, bearing in mind that a strong relationship between social and economical practices is perceived.  El presente artículo tiene por objeto estudiar en el corpus de fragmentos de Comedia Antigua y Media cuatro tipo de prácticas de comensalidad, vinculadas con los banquetes privados: I. el deîpnon apò symbolôn o banquete a partir de contribuciones individuales; II. el epidósimon deîpnon o banquete de arriba; III. el synagógimon deîpnon o picnic; IV. Los tetradistaí o los del banquete del cuarto día del mes. Mientras que las escenas de grandes banquetes han sido en muchas ocasiones objeto de estudio, tanto en la comediografía aristofánica cuanto en otros géneros, las prácticas de los banquetes privados, lo han sido de manera muy tangencial.
