The results show that most of the lithic production stages were carried out at the site, and that there is a tendency towards expedient strategies in tool manufacture, use, and discard. The latter is evidenced in the discard of cores with suitable sizes for subsequent reduction, as well as the predominance of tools with low-labor investment in their manufacture and suitable sizes for further resharpening or still sharp cutting edges. In addition, these human groups exploited locally available lithic raw materials of good knapping quality. With this analysis, we aimed to expand the available information on the activities carried out at the site, where lithic technology is complemented with other activities (processing, consumption, burial) analyzed in previous works. Based on this, Margen Sur is characterized as a multiple activities site.
