As the years go by, the writer approaches this recurring theme differently throughout her work. The rhythms are different in poetry, song, and prose, showcasing the author’s creative diversity. El presente trabajo se propone estudiar el tema del otoño en la producción literaria de María Elena Walsh en etapas diferentes de su vida: hacia 1947 cuando publica Otoño imperdonable, hacia 1968 cuando incluye su canción “El señor Otoño” en su recital “para ejecutivos”, y en su última obra, Fantasmas en el parque, publicada en 2008. Según pasan los años, la escritora enfoca de manera diferente este tema siempre presente a lo largo de su obra. Entre la poesía, la canción y la prosa los ritmos son distintos y muestran la pluralidad creativa de la autora.
