It also reflects on a series of aspects related to commercial publishing processes and open access. Finally, some preliminary proposals on this subject are addressed. En este editorial, con motivo de los veinte años de Información, Cultura y Sociedad, se analizan los problemas y los nuevos desafíos en la edición de las revistas académicas. Además se reflexiona sobre una serie de aspectos relacionados con los procesos editoriales comerciales y el acceso abierto. Finalmente, se abordan algunas propuestas preliminares sobre este tema.
