The triggering questions that guide this work are: Which have been the main research agenda topics on gender, class and unionism in Argentina in the last 4 decades? Which are theoretical-methodological perspectives that discuss these topics? What aspects predominated in the reviewed studies and what new agendas can be proposed? Este artículo es un balance en el que se abordan, a partir de un conjunto de interrogantes, los aportes de las diferentes disciplinas al conocimiento de la participación sindical de mujeres y diversidades sexuales a partir de los cruces entre género, trabajo e historia en la Argentina reciente, con énfasis en el análisis de recorridos y modalidades de organización y representación sindical. Los interrogantes disparadores que guían este trabajo son: ¿Cuáles han sido las principales temáticas de la agenda de investigación sobre género, clase y sindicalismo? ¿Desde qué perspectivas teórico-metodológicas se abordaron estos temas? ¿Qué dimensiones predominaron en los análisis relevados y qué nuevas agendas pueden ser propuestas?
