Los temas anteriores, sobre todo el referente a la inculturación de la fe, sirven de base para entender algunas de las propuestas teológico-pastorales del Papa Francisco. Sobre todo, la relación entre fe y cultura ha sido abordada por el Sumo Pontífice a partir de la lectura de las obras de uno de sus maestros y amigos más cercanos: el jesuita Juan Carlos Scannone.Palabras clave: Inculturación, América Latina, filosofía, teología, sabiduría popular.AbstractThis paper proposes a methodological approach to study the thought and writings of Juan Carlos Scannone (1931), one of the leading figures of the Philosophy of Liberation and of the Argentinian Theology of the People. The approach is based on a chronological and thematic study of the main traits in each stage of the development of his thought, specially emphasizing its third stage, which is characterized by his careful treatment of topics such as inculturation of faith and philosophical thought in Latin America.These previous topics, specially the one related to inculturation of faith, are the key to understand some of the theologico-pastoral proposals advanced by Pope Francis. Above all, the relationship between faith and culture discussed by the Supreme Pontiff is heavily influenced by his reading of the works of one of his teachers and closest of friends: the jesuit Juan Carlos Scannone.Keywords: Inculturation, Latin America, philosophy, theology, popular wisdom.
