This information was collected through a self-administered questionnaire with open and closed questions to an accessible sample of 538 first-year students who were taking the subject Introduction to Social Sciences and Scientific Knowledge at FCE-UNLP, at the beginning of the first and second term of 2020. Subsequently, the data was processed with SPSS. The inquiry proposal was articulated with the curricular contents of the subject Introduction to Social Sciences and Scientific Knowledge in relation to current social exclusion/inclusion in their immediate environment linked to social status, gender, age, etc. and that the students put into play in their practices and speeches. The findings of this research are made up as input for the planning of work lines in the academic and extension plans, within the framework of the paradigm of university social responsibility and its contribution to the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. El objetivo de este artículo es abordar las representaciones sociales de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (FCE-UNLP) con relación a las formas de exclusión social de su comunidad en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19 en el año 2020. Se relevó información mediante un cuestionario autoadministrado con preguntas abiertas y cerradas a una muestra accesible de 538 estudiantes de primer año que cursaban la materia Introducción a las Ciencias Sociales y al Conocimiento Científico en la FCE-UNLP, al inicio del primer y segundo cuatrimestre del año 2020. Posteriormente los datos fueron procesados con SPSS. La propuesta de indagación se articuló con los contenidos curriculares de la asignatura Introducción a las Ciencias Sociales y al Conocimiento Científico en relación a la exclusión/inclusión social vigentes en el entorno inmediato vinculadas con la condición social, de género, de edad, etc. y que los estudiantes ponen en juego en sus prácticas y discursos. Los hallazgos de esta investigación se conforman en insumo para la planificación de líneas de trabajo en los planos académico y de extensión, en el marco del paradigma de responsabilidad social universitaria y su aporte al cumplimiento de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible.
