The incorporation of bidirectional jute fabric was evaluated as a reinforcement.The density, flexural strength and thermal conductivity of the particleboards were determined. Thermal transmittance calculations were made for different construction typologies comparing the thermal insulation capacity for winter and summer conditions and different assembly alternatives were evaluated. En la región algodonera argentina, el 30 % de las viviendas poseen cerramientos horizontales formados solo por chapas de acero galvanizado, sin ningún tipo de cielorraso, que redundan en disconfort, consumo excesivo de energía, condensación superficial, humedecimiento de la envolvente, crecimiento de hongos, desarrollo de afecciones crónicas e incremento de riesgos asociados una zona de alto riesgo por Mal de Chagas.Se propone emplear, como cielorrasos, tableros de partículas compuestas por residuos de desmonte y resina, brindando una alternativa para la disposición de aproximadamente 1.195.000 m3 de residuos generados por campaña. Se evaluó la incorporación de tejido de yute bidireccional como refuerzo.Sobre los aglomerados se determinó la densidad, resistencia a flexión y conductividad térmica. Se realizaron cálculos de transmitancia térmica para diferentes tipologías constructivas comparando la capacidad de aislamiento térmico para condición de invierno y verano y se evaluaron diferentes alternativas de montaje.
