We propose the construction of an ethnographic-qualitative approach to understand the relationship between the implementation of a specific educational policy for this modality in the context of the educational emergency and the processes of digital technology appropriation. We address progress in analyzing the documentary repertoire of a local experience, aiming to recover the technological imaginaries employed by students and members of the technical team of the Literacy and Basic Education Program for Youth and Adults during April 2020. En este trabajo presentamos avances en el marco del proyecto doctoral “Apropiación de tecnologías digitales en Educación Básica de Jóvenes y Adultos a partir de las modalidades emergentes por COVID-19”. Proponemos la construcción de un enfoque etnográfico-cualitativo que permita comprender la relación entre la puesta en práctica de una política educativa específica para la modalidad en el contexto de emergencia educativa y los procesos de apropiación de tecnologías digitales. Abordamos avances en el análisis del repertorio documental de una experiencia local, con el objetivo de recuperar los imaginarios tecnológicos puestos en juego por estudiantes y miembros del equipo técnico del Programa de Alfabetización y Educación Básica de Jóvenes y Adultos durante abril de 2020.
