The objective of this work is to contribute to early warning efforts by providing information about the potential occurrence of fires within the Corrientes territory, particularly in the first months of 2025, and to serve as a basis for developing management-action policies to mitigate this risk. Ante la posibilidad del retorno de sequías por la manifestación del evento de La Niña, los distintos paisajes de la provincia de Corrientes se encuentran expuestos a sufrir nuevamente episodios de incendios vinculados a la reducción de las precipitaciones, las altas temperaturas, ráfagas de viento y, a su vez, la quema descontrolada en áreas ganaderas y/o periurbanas. El objetivo de este trabajo es contribuir con la alerta temprana con información acerca de la posibilidad de manifestación de incendios dentro del territorio correntino, especialmente en los primeros meses del año 2025; y que sirva de base para generar políticas de gestión-acción en la mitigación de este riesgo.
