Sumario:Given the possibility of the return of droughts due to the manifestation of the La Niña event, the diverse landscapes of the province of Corrientes are once again at risk of experiencing episodes of fires linked to reduced rainfall, high temperatures, wind gusts, and, in turn, uncontrolled burning in livestock and/or peri-urban areas. The objective of this work is to contribute to early warning efforts by providing information about the potential occurrence of fires within the Corrientes territory, particularly in the first months of 2025, and to serve as a basis for developing management-action policies to mitigate this risk.
