This position focuses on the perspective of the residents as protagonists of the collective work of the city, and is structured from the critical identification of territorial processes as a way of approaching the processes of territorialization, and of organizing the proposals of territorial transformation. Se ponen de relieve los procesos territoriales como claveinclusiva del aporte de profesionales de la arquitecturay el urbanismo, el modo de comprender y gestionarlas transformaciones, y la consideración de sus efectosrespecto del derecho a la ciudad, como orientación queproduce un territorio justo y democrático, opuesta a laperspectiva –hegemónica en la práctica y ambigua en lateoría– de la reproducción sistemática de la desigualdady la injusticia.Este artículo expone una posible estructura teórico metodológicapara comprender y aportar en posicionesque construyan territorios más justos y democráticos.Esta posición se centra en la perspectiva de los pobladorescomo protagonistas de la obra colectiva de la ciudad,y se estructura a partir de la identificación críticade procesos territoriales como un modo de abordaje delos procesos de territorialización, y de organización delas propuestas de transformación territorial. Os processos territoriais são destacados como uma chave inclusiva para a contribuição dos profissionais de arquitetura e urbanismo, para compreender e gerir as transformações e considerar seus efeitos sobre o direito à cidade, como uma orientação que produz um território justo e democrático, em oposição à perspectiva - hegemônica na prática e ambígua na teoria– da reprodução sistemática da desigualdade e da injustiça.Este artigo expõe uma estrutura teórico-metodológica possível para compreender e contribuir com posicionamentos que construam territórios mais justos e democráticos.
