From the author's self-representation to the creation of an ultraworld, Mancini builds a fictional universe in which failure and exclusion take center stage. In contrast to the prevailing ethos, which promotes hyperproductivity, self-exploitation, success, and an overabundance of positivity, Mancini's work finds points of contact with the marginal and counter-hegemonic origins of graphic narratives. El presente trabajo se propone realizar un análisis de la producción del historietista argentino Pedro Mancini. Para ello, se presenta un recorrido por una selección de producciones del autor con el objetivo de relevar los diferentes elementos que construyen lo que hemos dado en llamar poética de la marginalidad. Desde la imagen del autor hasta la construcción de un ultramundo, Mancini erige un universo ficcional en donde el fracaso y la exclusión cobran centralidad. En contraposición al espíritu de época que reivindica la hiperproductividad, la autoexplotación, el exitismo y exceso de positividad, la obra de Mancini encuentra puntos de contacto con los orígenes marginales y contrahegemónicos de las narrativas gráficas.
