This is part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, specifically Goal 12, "Responsible Consumption and Production". After systematizing the properties and benefits associated with plastic waste in construction, analyses and visits to plastic reuse points in the city were carried out. The plastic waste with the lowest output in construction is Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), so a reuse alternative was developed within the framework of the circular economy. The first prototypes and tests were generated (currently, thermal conductivity and water absorption), to subsequently compare them with different prototype results from other research projects. El objetivo fue desarrollar prototipos de paneles para posibles usos como revestimientos de cerramientos, tanto horizontales como verticales en viviendas (cielorrasos, emplacados de muros o panelería vertical, etc.), reutilizando el residuo de plásticos en el Gran Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. El trabajo se enmarca en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la Agenda 2030, en particular en el objetivo 12 “Producción y consumo responsables”. Tras una sistematización de propiedades y beneficios asociados al residuo plástico en la construcción, se realizaron: análisis y visitas a puntos de reutilización de plásticos en la ciudad. El residuo plástico que menor salida en la construcción tiene es el Polietileno de Baja Densidad (LDPE), por lo que se desarrolló una alternativa de reutilización, en el marco de la economía circular. Se desarrollaron los primeros prototipos y ensayos (conductividad térmica y absorción de agua), para luego compararlos con resultados de diferentes prototipos surgidos de otras investigaciones.
