Logically, agricultural regulations are adapting and updating -although not always with the desired velocity- to accept those changes imposed by the social, economic, environmental and food context, indicating the new horizons of Agrarian Law. Para poder dimensionar el alcance de los nuevos horizontes del Derecho Agrario y mostrar los desafíos que tiene por delante, es propicio recordar, aunque sea brevemente, sus orígenes y posterior desarrollo. La actividad productiva agraria, objeto de nuestro Derecho, enfrenta hoy en día, nuevos paradigmas y retos. Lógicamente, la normativa agraria va adaptándose y actualizándose -aunque no siempre lo hace con la velocidad deseada- para receptar aquellos cambios que impone el contexto social, económico, ambiental y alimentario, indicando los nuevos horizontes del Derecho Agrario.
