Sumario: | This work approaches the notions of eugenics, biotypology and the entrance exam to the course of Physical Education teachers from Uruguay. Taking as a starting point that in early 1900 in Uruguay, among scientists and statesmen of the country, there was an eugenic utopia which guided public policies. This paper seeks to account for the discursive continuities that can be established among the eugenic-biotypological postulates and the entrance exam. This exam, it was biotypological instrumental, that select the persons who are apts to be physical Education teachers. |
