Los trabajos que se fueron realizando van engarzando diferentes aspectos del desarrollo de estos estudios con un enfoque interdisciplinario, dando cuenta de la diversidad de experiencias. Durante los últimos años se fueron gestando un conjunto interesante de estudios que han intentado reconstruir este campo de estudios vinculado fuertemente con la propia gestión de lo público y de la toma de decisiones de última instancia. Esto ha sucedido de manera sostenida tanto a nivel internacional con la creación de la International Public Policy Association (IPPA) como con los diferentes Grupos de Investigación de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Ciencia Política (ALACP). Las orientaciones producidas por el denominado Manifiesto de Popayán han permitido dar cuenta de la compleja trama de relaciones de poder que también se expresan dentro del campo científico-académico, siendo un elemento central en estas indagaciones. In this paper we attempt to introduce ourselves in a critical and reflexive way in the field of studies on the State, administration and public policies in Latin America by mapping the textures and diversity of its spaces in a historical dimension. The works that have been carried out are linking different aspects of the development of these studies with an interdisciplinary approach, accounting for the diversity of experiences. In recent years, an interesting body of work has been developed in an attempt to reconstruct this field of studies strongly linked to the management of public affairs and ultimate decision making. This has happened in a sustained manner both at the international level with the creation of the International Public Policy Association (IPPA) and with the different Research Groups of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Ciencia Política (ALACP).
