Embryological study in Oziroë acaulis (Baker) Speta (Hyacinthaceae)
All the results of this paper constitute an original contribution because none of the species of Oziroë is embryologically known. The development of the anther wall in O. acaulis is of Monocotyledonous type. The tapemm is secretory and has binucleate cells. The microspore tetrads are isobilaterat an...

The development of the anther wall in O. acaulis is of Monocotyledonous type. The tapemm is secretory and has binucleate cells. The microspore tetrads are isobilaterat and decussate, and the pollen grains are 2-celled when shed. The stigma has three receptive zones with 1-celled papillae and the style is hollow. The ovule is anatropous, bitegmic and crassinucellate. The ovular primordium is bizonate; the inner integument is dermal and the outer one is subdermal in origin. Megaspore tetrads are T-shaped; the lowermost megaspore produces a Polygonum type of embryo sac. The endosperm is helobial. 2000 https://bibliotecadigital.exactas.uba.ar/collection/paper/document/paper_00319449_v50_n2_p161_Strittmatter http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12110/paper_00319449_v50_n2_p161_Strittmatter |
