Hypothyroidism associated to pretibial myxoedema is an autoimmune complication of hypothyroidism, and is accompanied by hyponatremia and increased serum concentration of vasopressin. In this article, three patients with pretibial myxoedema are reported, treated with daily sodic levothyroxine 0,1 mg and demeclocycline as inhibitors of V2 receptors of arginine vasopressin.
