The active plant extracts, the LC50 and the 95 % confidence intervals (μg/mL) obtained were: Nierembergia aristata: 250(1558-102), N. stricta: 84 (354-380); N. hippomanica-. 163 (304-91); Solanum chacoense-. 230 (359-154); Salpichroa origanifolia (fruits): 330 (534-203) and S. origanifolia (leaves):75 (112-49).
