When the magnetic field is oriented around the direction of the twin boundaries, the shielding (|χ′|) shows a relative maximum or relative minimum amplitude when H ∥ c, depending on whether temperature is above or below a well-defined Tch. At T > Tch, the relative maximum manifests vortex pinning by the boundaries, whereas below Tch the boundaries may form channel walls for easy paths for vortex flow and thereby the shielding for H ∥ c is lower than for other field orientations. © 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
